Examples of our recent research and innovations are:
- The development of the Route Review Tool to support practitioners in modelling the impact of speed management and road infrastructure countermeasures
- The development of the Active Travel Demonstrator Tool
- The inclusion of new urban road safety measures in the iRAP analysis tools ViDA
- The publication of Determining Safe Speeds that presented evidence on the speeds at which 10% of casualties would result in a fatal or serious collision
- The development of an approach and terms of reference for Safe System Fatal Review Panels
